Characters of Zelda

Link: Link is the main character of all the Zelda games. Link has possesion of the Triforce of courage. His courage is what get's him through it all. Link is a Hylian boy who must save Hyrule from the terror of Ganon. He's an evil sorcerer who wants to obtain the Triforce and take over Hyrule. As Link, you must adventure through Hyrule and obtain special items. As the final boss fight, you must fight and defeat Ganon. Once you do, you seal him away in the void and save Hyrule once again. But Ganon still, and always will, have the Triforce of power. He obtained it in Ocarina of Time.

Zelda: Zelda is the other main character in the Zelda series. In fact, all the games are named after her. Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. Ganon kidnaps her in each (most) of the games and Link must save her. Zelda is one of the Sages and holds the triforce of wisdom.

Ganon: Ganon is the main boss/enemy in almost all the Zelda games. His goal in the beggining was to obtain the Triforce, and he did. But, since his heart was not pure he could not have his wish granted. The Triforce split into three. Since Ganon wanted power above all else, he received the triforce of power. The other two were given to two young people. Link and Zelda, who received the Triforce of Courage (Link) and the Triforce of Wisdom (Zelda). Ganon Could not obtain the other two pieces from the two and was defeated and banished to the void. He was sealed away there until he could break out again, and wreek havoc on all the people of Hyrule once again.
